Alin has always been interested in how a business works and what the people running it want to achieve, and that curiosity led him naturally to a practice that combines business law with compliance with European regulations, because a growing company needs both at the same time.

He has worked with very different businesses, from start-ups taking on their first investor to mature groups of companies going through a reorganisation, and that variety has taught him to adapt easily and to look at a decision beyond the moment it is taken, weighing its consequences in advance. He always starts from what the client needs to solve and explains the legal risks to the decision-makers in business terms, and he matches his pace to the project, whether it is a negotiation lasting a few days or an acquisition prepared over months.

Representative experience

Legal assistance in company acquisitions, from due diligence to negotiating the transaction.
Structuring mergers, demergers and other reorganisations of groups of companies.
Assisting founders and investors in funding rounds and in negotiating shareholders' agreements.
Negotiating software and SaaS licensing contracts, as well as cooperation agreements between technology companies.
Protecting trade marks and domain names, including in proceedings to recover abusively registered domains.
Acting as data protection officer for technology companies and handling the relationship with ANSPDCP, including in the management of security incidents.
Drafting terms of use and policies for e-commerce platforms and applications.
Implementing compliance programmes for the AI Act, NIS2 and DORA and advising on MiCA requirements, for technology and financial services companies.
